Believe it or not, the very first time I met a "real live" author I was in my twenties! Fortunately, times are changing and students have the opportunity to meet and talk with authors in their schools. Having an author visit their school can open a student's eyes to the realities of the writing process,the wonders of their world, and perhaps even to the possibilities of a career in writing.

Lorraine couldn't be more thrilled then to share her story in order to bring awareness to the need for adoptive families as well as support WRMB's efforts to reach Lillian's Chinese family for Jesus!! Following the reading. Mrs. Simcox will sign copies of her book and for the cost of $5.00 you will be able to make your own Red Thread Bracelet. Procedes from the Red Thread project will bennefit orphan children who are in need of medical attention!
