Benjamin Franklin Awards

Posted on July 8, 2010

AWESOME trip to NYC! We attended an evening of enchattment at the Roosevelt Hotel where IPBA hosted the 2009 Benjamin Franklin Awards. Among the glitz of city lights we taxied our way to the black suit and tie dinner event where A Single Red Thread was recognized for Excellence in Publishing and placed 2nd in Young Children's~ Interior Design! Huge thanks to illustrator Lynn Wang for capturing the heart of this story through life like emotion filled illustrations and to designer Sherry Campbell whose tedious attention to detail put this project OVER the TOP! Your dedication surpassed my expectations and I can hardly wait to work with you on the next project!

Thank You! It has been a wonderful journey! We realize this is just the beginning and are waiting for God to show us the next step so that we can minister to orphans in need! We appreciate your comment and consider you a part of the Red Thread Project!

Love the illustrations! Who did the designing?

Award winning artist, Lin Wang painted the illustrations. I worked closely with Sherry Campbell of Graphics Illustrated in Chattanooga to capture just the right tone and mood for the book. She is incredible and I highly recommend her!
